Sorry for the late reply.

The infinite combinatoriam is a series of shows that will be based on notions surrounding the infinite and recombination are desirable but not essential, contemporary artworks of all mediums will be considered, including wall/floor based, time based and performative. The show is open to interpretation and we are interested in finding exciting and contemporary works to display.

Currently funding is not available for the first few exhibitions but we are in the process of applying for some.

Our first show will be in May 2010 and we hope to continue with this theme in further exhibitions leading up to “The Event” 2011

The Infinite Combinatorium will be a collection of shows taking place next year, presented in several locations in Birmingham (UK).

We are looking to curate a show that will exhibit new artwork looking at the premise of the infinite, and the process of creation through recombination.

Some of the of these ideas will be shown in the way the work is exhibited (a process we are still working out), so it is not necessary that each piece of work deals with the infinite or recombination in a direct way.

If you would like to be considered please send us an artist CV and expression of interest outlining roughly what you might like to submit.

Cheers, I might do it 100% Inkscape, it’s such a dream to use. My only gripe is I’d like to see a more intuitive gradient editor, and less crashes – I lost 2 and a half hours of work the other day after forgetting to hit save…
